It is my great pleasure to present the latest issue of the Journal of Design Thinking (JDT), an open-access, peer-reviewed platform dedicated to advancing scholarship at the intersection of design, creativity, and innovation. As a journal committed to fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, JDT continues to serve as a meeting ground for researchers, practitioners, and educators who seek to explore the evolving landscape of design thinking and its applications. In an era defined by complexity and rapid transformation, design thinking has emerged as a vital approach to addressing “wicked problems” through human-centered, creative, and iterative processes. It not only bridges disciplines but also connects theory with practice, enabling meaningful innovation across industries and cultures. JDT aims to contribute to this global discourse by publishing rigorous research, critical reflections, and applied studies that expand our understanding of design cognition and methodology. As an international journal, JDT is committed to transcending geographical and intellectual boundaries in the production and dissemination of knowledge. We believe that meaningful innovation emerges through dialogue across cultures, perspectives, and contexts. By bringing together contributions from diverse regions of the world, the journal seeks to foster a more inclusive and interconnected scholarly community—one in which ideas are not confined by borders, but enriched through exchange and collaboration.
